Integrated Academic Training Programme
Bone and Joint Group (Trauma & Orthopaedics) will begin a programme of meeting, learning and collaboration starting on 6th September 12:30 – 13:30. Every week, we will meet for an hour for a monthly 4 week programme of the following:
- Week 1: Academic training
- Week 2: Presenting ongoing research progress
- Week 3: Hearing from invited speakers
- Week 4: Sharing new ideas for research (via a Dragons Den format)
- Week 5: FREE
Everyone involved in research, academics and teaching is invited to participate in the Abernethy Building (within the Blizard Institute), with a remote option available for most of the meetings.
This is a chance to move up a gear in academic orthopaedic practice. By sharing our progress and ideas, the department will grow in size and profile, and we will all be able to share in the successes of the unit.
If you would like to present your work or ideas, or have ideas for external speakers, then please send the details to Lauren (boneandjointhealth@qmul.ac.uk) and you’ll be allocated a date, otherwise we look forward to seeing you on 6th September.
